Sweepstakes: A Spring Cleaning Success

One of the primary goals of the Canadian Choice Windows and Doors Sweepstakes was to increase overall brand awareness and book appointments for an in-home estimate. A sweepstakes with an enormous grand prize of $25,000 was the perfect way to get mass reach over a short period of time.

Full Scoop Marketing designed a dedicated microsite. This microsite, easily accessible through a tab on the Canadian Choice website, served as the gateway to the sweepstakes. Visitors who signed up for a home energy audit were automatically entered to win a spectacular home upgrade package valued at $25,000, courtesy of Canadian Choice, along with a home check-up from renowned expert Bryan Baeumler.

With a Canada-wide reach, the sweepstakes targeted a diverse audience, including millennials, families, and retirees aged 25-65, who were homeowners. The campaign was supported using various platforms, including an email communication funnel, organic and paid social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), radio, and Billboards (out-of-home advertising), to maximize reach and engagement.

The key to growth often lies in data. Let’s break it down. All data collected from the microsite, including first names, last names, emails, phone numbers, provinces, cities, and postal codes, was exported for analysis. This data was then cross-referenced with sales to identify entries that completed an in-home appointment. The result? An 8.34% increase in appointments booked between 2022 and 2023 during the same period.
