Growing an Email Database
Our client, K1 Speed, was looking for a fun, and innovative way to capture information for their email database as a new and growing brand in Canada. Onboard with our Spin To Win campaign idea, we got started right away. This project was no small feat, here is a breakdown of the steps to bringing this campaign to life:
Brief our wicked team of designers to get started on the mock-up of our vision. They worked over several weeks to perfect the designs and create the XD files for step two.
Where design meets functionality. Cue the developers. Our team of developers take our XD files and functionality brief to code a fully functional microsite for the Spin To Win program to run on.
After some thorough testing to work out all the bugs the campaign goes into its final quality checks and gets ready to launch!
We mentioned that this campaign style leads to a really high conversion rate. What does that mean exactly? Here are the nitty gritty numbers that our client achieved:
2021 Results: 2,866 emails collected
2022 Results: 10,537 emails collected +267.65% growth
Total Entries: 10,537
Total Visitors: 11,907
= 88% conversion rate
Beyond the emails collected for the database, each prize offered in the campaign was an offer to visit one of the locations; a free race, a discount, or a t-shirt. Not only did we collect information for the email database, we drove traffic to the locations after the 6 week campaign finished bring the business a strong ROI.
What is the impact of these results on our client’s business? For a much lower than average CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), our client was able to gather over 10,000 contacts to add to their database in a 6-week timeframe. These are new first-time customers that we can target through strategic marketing campaigns and turn into a customer for life. Results we’re proud of, and our client is thrilled about.
